Couscous has small grains, made from the finest durum wheat semolina. It is a natural product, easily digested by the body. Due to the short cooking time it does not lose its flavour or nutrients. The wheat grains are steamed during the processing of the wheat, which allows you to cook couscous really fast in the kitchen.

Historically, couscous has been used in traditional North African cuisines for many hundreds of years. In Europe, couscous was introduced by the French, largely replacing rice, pastas and potatoes. In Poland, couscous has also become quite popular, especially with those who want healthy and light meals without spending all day in the kitchen. A major advantage of couscous is its speed of preparation. Just place in a glass bowl, add salty boiling water (or milk), cover, wait for about 5 minutes and it is ready. Couscous is a perfect addition to salads, soups, sauces, vegetables and meats. You can serve it hot or cold. Try out our other Kupiec grains and grits.
